Our Story
We gave the House a name that refuses to behave.
Founded in 2020 by Deepak Josey, Yakshi is a contemporary women's fashion house inspired by the enigmatic feminine spirit of Indian folklore.
We chose the name for its exquisite contradictions. Beauty and danger. Grace and defiance. The intimacy of nature and the unsettling presence of something that belongs to another world.
We recognise those contradictions in you.
Your relationship with your body, your instincts and your desires is deeply personal. You can be graceful without being agreeable, sensual without performing desire and wicked without offering an explanation.
